3 injured in Mason City reckless driving accident
At least three persons in Mason City, Iowa suffered physical injuries after they got involved in a vehicular accident caused by a reckless driver, an article of Globe Gazette stated on August 27.
According to reports at around 8:50 p.m. a two-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Spruce Avenue and 305th Street. A southbound vehicle driven by a 26-year-old man was struck on the side by an eastbound vehicle driven by a 37-year-old woman. Cerro Gordo County authorities revealed that the accident happened after the male driver veered to the woman’s lane after failing to stop. Both drivers and one passenger, an occupant of the man’s car, were treated for their injuries while a baby inside the woman’s vehicle was taken to the hospital merely as a precaution. Authorities issued a citation to the male driver for ignoring a stop sign.
