Students injured in Waterloo rear-end collision

Several individuals suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash involving a school district van and a pickup truck in Waterloo, Iowa on December 9.

According to reports, a Waterloo School District vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle at around 5:00 in the evening near the intersection of E 8th Street and Franklin Street. Both vehicles were reportedly heading west on Franklin Street when the collision took place. Information coming from Waterloo Police said six people were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Authorities did not release the identities of the individuals involved in the crash as some were students.
