Can I appeal a personal injury case judgement?

Yes. If your case was taken to a court, you can appeal the decision made by the judge or jury. If your personal injury case was not taken to court and instead settled outside of court you may not appeal the settlement. Once a monetary number for settlement is agreed upon, the case is then closed and dismissed. If you had a court case that you wish to appeal, you and your lawyer must present a specific reason for which you believe the judgment was unfair.
