Two cousins killed in crash

According to the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Department, two cousins from western Iowa were killed Saturday in a single-vehicle crash in Pottawattmie County.

The 25-year-old and 26-year-old cousins were both riding in the same vehicle just north of Council Bluffs when the car left the road and entered a ditch on the west side of the road. It then rolled over.

According to friends, the cousins were heading home from a nephew’s flag football game at the time.
