Iowa law enforcement officer charged with drunken driving

Posted on September 16th, 2009 No Comments

An Iowa law enforcement officer who was arrested over a week ago in Ames was charged with drunken driving Tuesday. Captain Chris Moline of Webster City was pulled over for drunken driving Sep. 6.

The Iowa officer was temporarily relieved of his command and reassigned until the case is complete, according to police authorities. Moline was part of the Iowa Department of Transportation's Motor Vehicle Enforcement Unit and was honored in 2001 by a professional police group for how he handled a 2000 police chase of a homicide suspect.
