Two injured in Cedar Rapids wrong-way crash

Two individuals were hospitalized after a seven-vehicle accident in Cedar Rapids, an article by KCRG stated on July 23.

According to Lieutenant Cody Estling, the accident took place on both lanes of I-380 at around 6:00 a.m. when a vehicle was seen driving in a wrong direction. Responding officers said there were seven vehicles involved in the crash. Two people were brought to the hospital, one of which was the unidentified driver in his 70’s that caused the accident. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, including whether or not a medical condition contributed to the driver’s erratic control.
