Iowa legislators amend drunk driving laws
On March 11, Iowa legislators voted to amend state drunk driving laws.
In a 28-20 senate vote, Iowa politicians voted to pass a bill that requires drunk driving offenders to install an ignition interlock device in their vehicle. According to Senator Chris Brase, the proposed change will deter repeat offenders from causing more drunk driving accidents.
