Fatal crash kills four, injures two others
At least four people died and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash in northeast Clermont on Friday, January 10.
According to police reports, the fatal accident occurred at around 8 a.m. in the 27000 block of Harding Road when the westbound vehicle driven by 28-year-old Shariff Hussein Warsame lost control and struck another vehicle after it crossed to the other side of the highway. Warsame and his three other passengers were all killed after sustaining serious injuries from the crash.
The occupants of the other vehicle, identified as Tony Alan and Pamela Ann Schlee, both from Elgin, were brought to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries from the accident.
