Nearly 300,000 teddy bears recalled by Build-A-Bear
Toy manufacturer, Build-A-Bear has issued a recall of nearly 300,000 ‘Colorful Hearts Teddy’ bears after it was discovered that the eyeball buttons on the bear may come lose and pose as a choking hazard.
Officials with Build-A-Bear and the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission announced the recall just days before Christmas arrived.
The bear was sold from April 2011 to Dec. 2011 throughout the U.S. and Canada. Consumers who purchased this bear can go into a Build-A-Bear store and return it for a coupon to purchase a new bear.
