Slip And Fall Accident Leads to Premises Liability Lawsuit

A couple has filed a premises liability lawsuit against a Texas restaurant over a slip and fall incident.

According to Harris County District Court documents, Clinton and Jamie Cobb filed a premises liability lawsuit on May 19 against Chuy’s Opco and Parkway Construction & Associates.

The lawsuit claims that on September 19, 2010, Clinton seriously injured his knee while dining at Chuy’s restaurant. He claims he slipped and fell on an excessively slippery entry ramp, which had been recently painted by Parkway construction. The Cobbs are seeking an unspecified amount of damages, plus court costs.

A representative for Parkway Construction declined to comment on the lawsuit.
