1 Injured in Davenport Train-Car Collison
An elderly man was injured on New Year’s Eve when his vehicle collided with a train at a train crossing intersection.
The accident occurred in Davenport, Iowa on Perry Street. The train pulled the car about 40 feet from the site of the crash along the tracks before it came to a stop. While the passenger side of the vehicle was heavily damaged, the driver’s side was left relatively unharmed and the driver sustained minor injuries. He was taken to Genesis Medical Center in Davenport for treatment.
