A 64-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning near Greene, Iowa, authorities said. He was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa first with serious injuries but was transferred to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn, authorities said.

The man entered the passing lane to overtake a construction vehicle, police said, but the construction vehicle was attempting to make a left turn. The man’s car hit the construction vehicle and went into the ditch, authorities said.
