28 cars involved in Iowa accident

Posted on March 8th, 2010 No Comments

On Interstate 29, police responded to an accident involving 28 vehicles near marker 125.

Officials say that blowing snow led to poor visibility on the highway and caused the cars to run into one another. The highway was closed in order to sort through the chaos and clean debris from the accident. Drivers were left stranded on the highway and were bused to local schools in order to get out of the cold. The start of the accident is still under investigation.

Driving in inclement weather can be dangerous and multiple accidents can occur. If you or a loved one has been injured in a auto accident due to someone else’s negligence, contact the Iowa car accident lawyers of LaMarca & Landry, P.C. by calling 877-327-2600.
