When indidivuals are involved in accidents, police and medical staff will often check them for injuries. Such injuries could be included in a police or medical report.
These reports can be key pieces of evidence in a personal injury lawsuit. In some cases, individuals do not realize they have an injury at the accident scene but later realize that they are injured.
If this occurs, these individuals should try to include the injury in the accident report and contact an attorney if they have any questions.
