Crop duster crashes in cornfield
A crop duster crashed at an airstrip near Harlan Monday. Shortly after takeoff, the plane lost power and crashed 100 yards beyond the runway.
Shelby County police officials said the single-seat plane landed upside down in a cornfield. Despite the damage to the plane, the pilot only incurred minor injuries and walked away from the crash without medical assistance.
