A 72-year-old woman was driving west on U.S. 20 at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning when her car struck another car crossing the highway.
Judd D. Grover, the 39-year-old man driving the other car, failed to yield. Although he did not sustain any injuries, police officials cited him for the accident.
The woman, Norma R. Bildstein from Worthington, was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. No information was available on her condition.
